Our strong community partnership is demonstrated by our recent “Frog Bog” project where 8 volunteers from Conservation Australia and 2 local business’s including Boral spent the day at EVPS helping to maintain our garden. The volunteer group cleaned out the Frog Bog, pruned and weeded, and then put down lots of mulch. After lunch the group battled the fierce winds and planted 50 seedlings (donated by the Parks Department, City of Whittlesea). The seedlings were planted under the large River Red Gum near the Orange Portables. Thank you to Rosie Moffat our Sustainability Co-ordinator, our volunteers for all their hard work and to Neville & Gerrard for supervising during the day.
