Our School
Principal’s Welcome
It is with great pleasure and pride that our staff presents to you a glimpse of what we can offer to you as a school of choice for your child. You are invited to tour the school and see our vision in practice and experience first hand the welcoming, inclusive environment that EVPS offers all students, staff and families.
The staff at our school realise the joint responsibility we share in helping your child to grow by providing an environment where children can develop to their natural and full potential. At Epping Views Primary School we encourage the active participation of parents in what is happening at the school, welcoming assistance from parents with school programs. Opportunities for parent involvement will be provided during the year and direct requests for assistance in some areas will be made from time to time.
The school procedures and practices are based on:
- An open and consultative management approach that promotes shared problem solving, task assessment and action appraisal.
- Policies and programs that reflect current initiatives.
- A commitment to the development of ongoing quality learning programs that develop skills, recognise abilities and celebrate achievement.
Epping Views Primary School was established in 2008 and is situated in the rapidly expanding Epping North area. Our school has a dynamic, committed and caring staff who provide an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Selecting a school for your child is a very important decision to make and I invite you to visit our school to see and hear what we have to offer. Tours of the school are available and can be made by contacting the school to make an appointment time.
Yours sincerely,
Pauline Kubat
Foundation Principal

Sustainability
Our strong commitment to Sustainability allows staff and students to involve themselves in a learning environment which nurtures each students personal, social, physical and academic development. By helping our children better understand the impact their actions have on the environment provides a learning environment which conserves our natural resources.
Our strong links to Epping Views Kinder allows us to share our Sustainability practises and instill an environmentally conscious culture at Epping Views and its surrounding community. As a 5 Star Resource Smart School, Sustainability is embedded in everything we do. By minimising waste, saving energy and water, promoting biodiversity and taking action on climate change, not only benefits the school but the wider community.
At Epping Views Primary, we continue to strengthen Sustainability processes and project-based learning through multi age activities. The school’s appointment of a full time Sustainability Coordinator, supported by Sustainability Team Leaders and Jnr/Snr Student Sustainability Leaders, provides a great opportunity to strengthen our position. Sustainability is an integral part of our ethos and the importance has been linked to our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support Program forming part of our student values and expectations. The whole school Sustainability activities are action packed where students immerse themselves into Sustainability learning with all staff and students grouped according to: Water, Waste, Biodiversity and Waste.
Our whole school Sustainability initiatives include:
- Sustainability Hour (Terms 1-3) and Sustainability Day (Term 4).
- Celebration of Environmental Day.
- Clean up Australia Day.
- Earth Hour participation.
- National Tree Planting Day.
- Wrapper free lunches otherwise known as “Nude Food”.
- Student Sustainability Monitors (Light, Heating, Waste, Nude Food, Water Bottles).
- Weekly Sustainability roster which involves Environmental Duty. Emptying of all bins including waste, compost, recyclable material.
- Active student caring of our chickens “Cluckingham Palace”, vegetable and sensory gardens and orchard.
- 8 Water tanks which play a crucial role in reducing water usage across the whole school.
“Sustainability it’s the way we live!”
